This is an unassuming, small store front Vietnamese restaurant, also serving Thai & Chinese food. It was very clean, service was quick, but it was a little difficult to communicate w/the pleasant waitress.
Beef Pho was delicious w/rare slices of tender steak sitting atop the pho all nestled in that flavorful, savory broth. A medium is enough to share depending, or is a generous meal in & of itself. (sizes also come in Large & X-large) --Loved how we could control whether or not to eat the steak rare or swirl it in that delicious broth for further cooking. Comes w/a side of bean sprouts that were fresh & crunchy.
Next, we had a delicious Pad Sey U: extra wide noodles stir fried w/beef (or choice of protein), silky eggs, broccoli, asparagus, & Thai Basil. Comfort Food!! We loved it.
The Pad Sey U was spicy, so we ordered Crab Ragoon hoping the casein in the cream cheese would ease the burning of the former dish. Within a couple minutes, they too were served right away. They were light & crispy, filled w/that delicately seasoned creamy cheese & crabmeat filling.
The place was clean, service was quick & pleasant, food was good & an Excellent Value! The bathrooms were clean, but could use a lot of updating....
We are looking forward to trying many of Pho Triple 888's dishes & new combinations of those we've already had.
