Spent a week in august camping there and had a good time. Allmost all of the campsites here have full shade and are level but some are sloped. The beach is small and can become alittle crowded on nice days with people coming just for the day. If you are camping here be aware that there is an active bear problem with black bears coming into campsites and taking coolers and food right off of the picnic tables. As long as you dont leave any, and I mean any, food out or in your tents and you take your trash to the dumpsters each night you shouldn't have a problem. There are also restroom and shower facilities, cleaned daily, and a boat launch near the check-in station.
