“A fun stop in Orleans.”

Jonathan Young Windmill
Reviewed July 12, 2012

This Windmill is located at Town Cove Park in Orleans at the intersection of Route 28 and 6A. The Windmill was built in 1720 and all of its parts and machinery are intact. Bring your camera. The windmill is open most mornings in the summer and the guide will tell you all about the windmill. There is no cost to go in but there is a donation box if you would like to help preserve the windmill. There are pictures in the bottom of the windmill and you can go up to the top of the windmill. The windmill is in a nice little park overlooking the cove. You can enjoy a picnic at the park or walk next door to the Orleans Inn and have lunch on their waterfront deck.
