We take the grandsons to Skaket every summer, sometimes more than once. Huge, clean sand beach with a *very* shallow drop off -- you can probably walk out a mile and be no more than waist deep. It's on the bay side, so there are no rough seas to contend with. And in spite of all the tourists who come to the Cape, somehow this beach is never crowded -- maybe because it is so large. There is a parking charge in season (and a small concession stand), but we usually come later in the day and miss both.
