Make a quick pitstop for a delicious Sharky's house Margarita made with their house made margarita mix. Food is par for Mexican. Decor fits the atmosphere perfectly along with the staffs friendly manner. They have a late night menu which is always fantastic when you get hungry at midnight.

My teenage daughters and I decided to spontaneously drop in for a quick lunch, thankfully there was space at the window bar for us - all tables were taken (happens a lot there - it's very popular). We received quick service from the bartender. As we sat at the window bar, it was great people-watching - even saw Spike Lee walking down the street as we dined on our tacos! Food tasted great - I've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.

Went to Sharky's for lunch on a day trip. The people were fun, there was a wide variety of food and the price was just right. It was a rainy day, so we probably spent a little bit more time there than we normally would of.

My son forces us to eat at Sharky's every year on our day trip to the Vineyard. It is one of the meals that has been consistently average. Unlike 90% of Mexican restaurants that provide free chips and salsa - you get charged for them here. This year we got the queso as an appetizer and my son said it tasted like Cheese Wiz. He was right. He had the shredded chicken enchiladas. The chicken was tasty but the enchiladas were mushy overall. The rice was tasteless and the black beans would have been better if just dumped cold from a can of Goya beans. I had the cheeseburger burrito. Nothing special. Burgers were cooked well but they lacked taste. Overall, if you are going to Martha's Vineyard - why get at best mediocre Mexican (at Boston prices) when you can get fresh seafood at places all around it. I won't speak to the "cleanliness" of the bathroom they offer next door. I will say someone needs to make sure it has paper towels and toilet paper and gets mopped once and a while...

"Bit by the Review" :)
We are disappointed that you did not enjoy your meal. Hundreds of thousand of people a year enjoy our enchiladas, queso, beans and burritos and we wish you were one of them. Our table feedback has been fantastic and we thank you for giving us a try. Our amazing staff does their absolute best to stay on top of the restrooms as it is a priority and we thank them for the continued hard work and dedication to their jobs. Are there snapshots in time where individuals create situations in bathrooms at restaurants? Absolutely, but our crew works hard to stay on top of it. Unfortunately food costs on MV are higher than most locations in this country, plus our pico de gallo is made fresh daily and not from a can, so we are unable to offer it for free, but feel the couple dollars we charge is a great price for such quality, fresh ingredients. Thanks!
