One of the attractions to include when sightseeing here. Unfortunately there was nothing happening the day we went except for an attending tour bus group, but it was still interesting to take it in.

It's also a convenient spot to relax for a bit before venturing further into or having already taken a walk through the Campground.

Large covered space with stage and wooden benches. Can just imagine a revival meeting happening here.

I visit the park and if there is a function taking place it is worth stopping in the unique edifice.

This is a must-see for O.B., as the unique character of each little gingerbread cottage is fun as all get-out. In the tabernacle we were lucky to go there when a local violinist happened to be playing just for the joy of it (or maybe commissioned to play there as such by the town?) and I think using some sort of synthesizer the fiddle was hooked up to on his belt he played an amazing version of Amazing Grace. Just beautiful to experience in the cool autumn air, with warm sun dappling through the magnificently twisted old trees on the green. We were transported.

very interesting from an historical perspective... reminded me of chautauqua in new york... the grounds were lovely and the homes in the campground very quaint and picturesque
