This is another staple for me and the family when visiting MV. Consistently good variety of home brewed beer and good food. One of the best lobster roll deals on the island as well as unique deserts; must try the upside down key lime pie in a beer mug. Always free peanuts and friendly atmosphere.

I have been coming to Offshore Ale for years and it is hands down one of the greatest places to eat and drink. The peanuts are always great and now my 2 year old son loves to throw the shells on the floor. The food is excellent. I had a lobster roll that was crammed with so much lobster I had to take some home. I have never had to take lobster roll home as leftovers before. This place was awesome before we had kids and just as wonderful now that we have a family. With spending just 1 week here this trip, we ate at Offshore twice and loved every minute being here. It is a gem and you don't want to miss it!

Perfect! The beer is great, the food is honest, and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We spent two nights on the island, ate here the first night, and came back the second night. The fried calamari was super tender, the (local) oysters were fresh and minerally, the ribs were falling off the bone, the pub salad was perfect (except it was too big, so the second night I asked for a half salad, and they were totally accommodating), and the fish and chips were golden and lovely. There were a lot of locals there, which counts for a lot in any restaurant, but especially one in such a touristy area. Staff was friendly, as long as you don't act like a snobby tourist, they won't treat you like one. Go here as much as you can!!!
