“great dining experience”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

This was a pleasant find in Oak Bluffs. I went for the gluten free chowder, a rare treat for me because most places thicken theirs with flour. It was so delicious, full of flavor. My husband got the lobster roll: 1/2 lb of unadulterated warm lobster meat and butter on a grilled roll. Amazing! To top it off this place was a little more chic than other places we have eaten in Oak Bluffs but the staff was incredibly friendly with great service. Highly recommend.

“Excellent Sidecar...”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

which is good, since the Sidecar restaurant on M/V has closed. It was the place that put me on this Sidecar kick.

At any rate, the drink was top notch. The food is a bit expensive, but fresh and very well prepared.

“Mmmmmmmm good!”
Reviewed June 16, 2014 via mobile

We took the high speed ferry from Hyannis and received a certificate bonus with our ticket for the MV Chowder company. Great drinks and food. Loved the different types of oyster shooter options especially the one with tequila! The clam chowder was great too!

“Great clam chowder”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

My friend and I stopped here for lunch after seeing a sign that said the clam chowder had been voted best in New England. We both ordered a cup of the chowder and agreed that it was really good. It's not thick and creamy like the chowder we have at the beach in NJ, but it's really tasty. It's seasoned well and loaded with potatoes and clams. I would definitely recommend trying it. We also split an order of risotto balls with tomato sauce. I'm not sure if we misread the menu or not, but we didn't expect them to be deep fried. They came out with a hard crust on them. My friend liked them better than I did; I'd say they were just okay. Go for the clam chowder though; you won't be disappointed.

“So Good!”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

We are so glad we picked this place. The outside does not look like a fine establishment... such a pleasant surprise when you go in. It has low lighting and great decor. The staff is so nice and welcoming. We ordered the fish and chips, tomato basil salad, and risotto balls. The food was hot and perfect. Would absolutely go back and highly recommend this restaurant!
