Erick and Rhonda have mastered the art of Inn keeping. This cozy and welcoming place is clean and the rooms are inviting. The baths are small but well appointed. They use top quality sheets and the beds are excellent. They have thought of it all. There are snacks during the day and beach chairs to use. Parking is not a problem. The breakfast has lots of variety. A mix of all kinds of people that get to know one another makes for a splendid time on the veranda at 5pm during wine hour.

Finally got away and we are so happy that we picked the perfect inn. The Oak Bluffs Inn is lovely as was the owners. Ideal location for walking to everything, including food establishments, the gingerbread cottages, and the beach! We had a problem with the shower, and told the owner... by the time we got back from a walk, it was fixed! He also makes breakfast... delicious berry crisp along with a fresh continental breakfast. We would highly recommend this inn for your next stay on Martha's Vineyard.

I had not been to Martha's Vineyard for 25 years and found it as beautiful and charming as ever. What really made this trip special was staying at the Oak Bluffs Inn. Erik and Rhonda were excellent innkeepers, very helpful and hospitable. My daughter and I were upgraded at no charge from a standard room to the penthouse suite since it wasn't occupied! The interiors were tastefully decorated, extremely clean and all amenities were first class. Erik gave wonderful tips on things to do and places to go and gave me a ride to the airport instead of calling a cab! I can't wait to go back and hope my friends and family will experience this as well if they go to the Vineyard.

My wife and I just came back from a nice weekend getaway from Boston. Our time at the OBInn was great. To begin with, Eric called us on our checkin date to check on us, and offer to give us a ride from the ferry dock to the Inn. Property and room was quaint and cozy, free snacks during the day, good breakfast, and any answers about Martha's Vineyard answered. It truly was like staying over at a friend's place. We'll have to come back!

It was our first time on Martha's Vineyard and we had but two days to 'get acquainted.' Verdict? Too short but VERY sweet! And you can pin a giant part of the 'blame' on the Inn itself, where we spent 1/2 our time idly reading & napping, or talking to fellow guests & owner Erik on the Main Street front porch* - our drinks, cheese, & crackers readily at hand.

While we most certainly enjoyed the other 1/2 of our short stay walking Oak Bluffs and Edgartown (lovely bus ride down & back), it was the unforced, organic ambience & hospitality of the Oak Bluffs Inn itself that set the table for it all!

Nicely done, Erik. We 'vill be back!'

*Don't be frightened off by the description. The Inn has the double advantage of being but a 10 min max walk to anywhere in Oak Bluffs, while being located at the 'quieter' end of Circuit St. :)

This was our 4th time staying at OBI and we've never had a bad experience; from the extremely amiable innkeepers, to the ideal location on the top of the circuit (quiet but close to everything) to the cozy, comfortable amenities, it's hard to do much better!

We chose the Oak Bluffs Inn for a 2 night stay in May with our daughter and my father-in-law. We had 2 rooms in the building right behind (and just steps away from) the main house. The rooms were spacious, clean and and comfortable. Particular kudos to the extremely comfortable beds; I generally have trouble sleeping in hotels but I had 2 completely uninterrupted nights of restful sleep at the inn.

The common areas of the inn were well maintained and well stocked with snacks, coffee, evening libations, books, magazines and beach needs. The inn itself could not be more conveniently located, as it is just at the end of the main commercial street and within walking distance of the beach, all shops and restaurants in town.

Eric was a fabulous host, full of tips on sightseeing on the island and a pleasure just to hang out with in the evening.

We would not hesitate to stay at the Oak Bluffs Inn again and highly recommend it.
