We only stayed 1 night because we were on a girls road trip and we had other places to go but the 1 night we stayed was wonderful. Erik picked us up from the Oak Bluff Ferry station and brought us to his Oak Bluff Inn. The room room #9 was wonderful.. It felt and looked like we were at home. We walked around the town got some good food and took a tour of the islands. We sat on the front porch at Oak Bluffs Inn which had about 7 or 8 huge rocking chairs. We loved it! The next morning we ate breakfast and Erik gave us a ride to the ferry location. Erik was so nice. We told him we will be back and we will!

My wife and I were back for our 10th consecutive Trip to the Vineyard this past weekend. As always we stayed at the Oak Bluffs Inn. Just as always we had a great stay. The awesome breakfast food the Great In keepers who are very friendly and very knowledgeable about everything on the island and the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere at the Inn makes it in my opinion the Only place to stay when visiting the island. They really do make you feel at home. I highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a trip.

Room Tip: There are rooms for everyone whether traveling alone or with the whole family!!!!

It was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard so I went with the tripadvisor top rated B&B and it turned out to be a good call. I was looking for a romantic getaway for our anniversary. Nice place, convenient location, great host and a really great room. It was a comfortable place to just hang out in the afternoon for a break as well as a great location to head out to do your daily adventuring. We grabbed some wine, cheese, fruit from the market and bread from the 'back door' bakery and enjoyed a nice romantic dinner on our balcony. Erik keeps a nice place. The property is picturesque, well maintained and spotless inside. Like others have said, he also is very helpful with island info and places to go. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

Our first time on Martha's Vineyard and we couldn't have been more pleased. We spent two nights at Oak Bluffs Inn over Memorial Day weekend. The location was excellent. We did not have a rental car and were able to walk to/from the ferry as well as to all of the local eateries and attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the vibe at the Inn was laid back and carefree. Erik was entertaining and hospitable without being intrusive. He was full of suggestions when we needed them and acted like our personal concierge! We will surely return to Martha's Vineyard and look forward to Erik's hospitality once again.

Room Tip: Splurge on the "apartment." The people watching from the balconies added to our overall e...

My husband and I were newcomers to MV. We visited in mid October and were pleasantly surprised at the fantastic weather and conditions for that time of year . MV is a dream escape ...lots to see and do and everything close by. Erik was a superb host . He was very knowledgeable about the island and very available to answer any questions we might have had. The inn was absolutely beautiful , well- kept and clean!! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful !
Erik offered us an upgrade to the penthouse suite for the same rate which we happily accepted !!
It was really comfortable as well as beautifully decorated .
All in all a great getaway destination !! I would go back at any time . Highly recommended .

Room Tip: Penthouse suite is definitely worth it....2 bedrooms...a complete apartment !!! Very comfortable...

Went to MV for the first time over a weekend in early May and had a fantastic time! The Oak Bluffs Inn was a great place to stay, our room was very nice with lots of windows and great light, and the beds were very comfortable! The location on Circuit Avenue is perfect especially if you don't have a car, we walked to the shops, restaurants, and bars. Erik, the innkeeper, is also a fantastic host. He was friendly and welcoming, and spent time showing us all of the places to check out on the island. I would definitely recommend the Oak Bluffs Inn, I can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: room 9! two full sized beds in a suite over the garage!

I made my first trip ever to Martha's Vineyard last month and had an awesome stay. The Oak Bluffs Inn is one-of-a-kind. Most importantly, Erik and Rhonda are superb hosts, and they treat each of their guests like friends right from the get-go. They're attentive but they also respect your personal space. Erik gave me and a couple other guests a tour of some key sights on Martha's Vineyard, including the famed gingerbread cottages and the phenomenal Lucy Vincent Beach. His knowledge of the island and its history is really impressive. Beyond that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the common area is cozy, and the porch is a nice place to relax and people-watch. Good location too — right around the corner from great spots like Offshore Ale Co., which, if you're a beer lover like me, you've got to try. Highly recommended.
