“A Great Golf Course!”
Reviewed November 14, 2013 via mobile

This is the third year playing golf at Farm Neck with my sons in late fall. The grounds are well kept , and the views of the water are exceptional! The front nine holes are closed and are being rehabbed - so we played the back nine twice. Weather was chilly but the sun was out- windy near the water. Great lunch in the club after playing- Reuben and French Dip were hits- Clam Chowder also good ! Will be back next year for sure!

“Nice grounds and clubhouse.”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

I was there on Sunday, October 20th attending the 68th Martha's Vineyard Fishing Derby Awards Ceremonies. It was held in a tent right there on the Farm Neck Golf Club grounds.

It was a first time for me attending this derby ceremony and also seeing the lovely grounds of this golf course. I certainly enjoyed every minute of it and appreciated all the work and effort these employees and volunteers did to make this derby ceremony so successful. What a job they did!

You couldn't ask for a nicer facility on Martha's Vineyard than the Farm Neck Golf Course to hold this event at.

“Great time”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

My husband played a round there while we were on Martha's Vineyard a week ago. He is an avid golfer and a retired golf course superintendent. He said the course was "pure" and the views were wonderful. He was set up with another twosome and they had a great time. I came to pick him up and we had lunch at the restaurant at the course which was perfect - good food, great service. A good time all around.

“Love, love, love the course”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

If you are a golfer, you have to play Farm Neck. And while the round is pretty pricey, if you're able to swing it, it's worth playing it, at least once. You may want to check out the twilight play, to help minimize the cost, but unless you get the first t-time then, you will likely not finish your full 18 holes. There are holes with wonderful views of the ocean, especially a par 3 that can play very differently, depending on whether the wind is blowing with you or against you. It's a joy to play and definitely worth the experience.

“Great Course - Pricey but worth the splurge”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Farm Neck is a quality course that will challenge all levels. There are 4 sets of tees to appease to their clientele. Greens Fees in the peak time (June 14-Sep 15) range from $80 for 9 holes before 8 AM, $90 for twilight (after 4 PM), and $160 for 11 AM-4 PM. 8 AM to 11 AM are reserved for members. The practice areas and range are well taken care of and are a step above most public facilities. If you want to fit in 18 during twilight, tee off as close to 4 PM as possible, especially in mid-August and later. We were a foursome and played 18 in 4 hours, teed off at 4:12 and played the 18th in little light (couldn't see a ball in flight more than 50-75 yards from you). Staff was very courteous. Burgers in the café are delicious!
