The warm smell of the wood-fired grill is only the first delight you'll get at Romaine's. The menu, while small, offers interesting variations on classic american fare. There is always a pork chop, done in a seasonal style, that is simply astonishing. The veal bolognese is a classic. There are french fries cooked in saffron oil, perhaps the best I've ever eaten. No one with whom I've dined there has ever said that the food was less than specatcular. And there is a Fallen Chocolate Cake to top things off which is so good that you never want it to end.
