My favorite place to get breakfast because Jess is bright-eyed and vibrant even at 5:30 a.m.! Super friendly staff, great quirkiness about the place. I love coming here after a run or even for a quick breakfast before work...even just a cup of coffee, to get my day started. Whether it's a leisurely breakfast or a quick bite, Chet's is the perfect spot.

Everyone is friendly, it is always packed so that tells you what a great place it is. It is your typical classic diner . You just don't see these much anymore. We have eaten there on both of our trips there. I always get the french toast. Never ending coffee.

Difficult to describe Chet's. I've eaten breakfast there several times. Food is typical American fare, service superb & prices fine. Interior looks like it was last re-done in the mid 50s. Chet's is open irregularly, more in mornings than at lunch. Best to call Chet's funky, as it has a small but fanatical following. Recommended.

Quick, friendly, this place is an absolute gem.

We were in search of the perfect breakfast spot when we finally landed at Chet's - the classic diner made us stop, friendly service held us, and the good value food sealed the deal. Nothing fancy, but an excellent selection of omelets and interesting weekly specials make for varied options. The homemade hash gets raves, and the blueberry pancakes are hard to pass up. What really keeps us coming back week after week is the people. Jess, Ann, and Celine not only know your name, they know all their regular customers favorite orders, and their humor and caring shines through. The only complaints I have ever heard are a debate over whether the home fries might be seasoned more, and the limited serving hours (5am-11am Monday-Saturday). There's also a back-room bar attached (you could even have a Bloody Mary with that breakfast). And don't miss Friday night, when The Battered Fish takes over the diner - their limited menu isn't an issue, 'cause their very fresh, perfectly battered fish & chips (we like to substitute the onion rings) is well worth coming back for...
