We went to Zem Han as a dinner date. It was not very crowded and the staff was attentive. The food was very good and different from the other genres you usually find (italian, chinese, etc). The portions were good and everything was tasty. They had good options for vegetarians as well. Highly recommended gem in Northborough.

I was pleasantly surprised and will go back. The place was dead on a Thursday night, sad because they have a great atmosphere with great tasting food! The Hummus, their complimentary concoction, the grape leaves and their falafel was amazing!!! Great soft pita bread. The falafel really was some of the best I have ever had. Everything was solid with their pan little twist to make it their own. You will not be disappointed!

Located in the old Northboro town center, Zem Han is NOT a Chinese restaurant, but an utterly unique spot that specializes in eastern Mediterranean food (with a twist of Russian mixed in). The food is a reflection of the two owners who are also the chefs. Atmosphere is a bit funky, but the cuisine is excellent and far closer to what you might expect in Cambridge than in the 'burbs of Northboro. Highly recommended as your new, regular spot to eat.

We decided to try Zen Han for lunch on a Saturday. We didn't know what to expect from the name, but once we reviewed the menu we were looking forward to something different. My fiancee and I had the beef wrap with raw vegetable and it was delicious. The beef for spicy, not too hot and the fresh vegetables were well-presented with a chopped tomato topping. We would classify the theme of the restaurant as eastern Mediterranean, with a flavor of Istanbul. We can't wait to return for a dinner.

We decided to try something different for diner on Friday and went to Zen Han in Northboro Center. We were greeted in a very polite and friendly manner and since it was early allowed to choose our seat.

The waitress was very good and explained a few items on the menu that we were uncertain of what the dish contained. I tried the Donner Kabob and my companion tried the vegetable moussaka. Both dishes were well prepared and very tasty. Their menu looks like it holds some treats for future visits

The room is very open but pleasant.

Glad we tried something different and we will be back.
