“Wonderful place for tea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2012

This is a favorite place for friends and I to have tea. The menu includes a great assortment of sandwiches and soups but my favorite is the afternoon tea. It comes in a tiered plate with cucumber sandwiches, desserts and your choice of the best scones in the world. My friends like the savory cheddar dill scone but my favorites are the butterscotch, cinnamon or white chocolate. Whaaever your choice, you're in for a treat.

“Great little place for a yummy and healthy lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2011

I ate here as a convenient place to meet a colleague. It's not a place for a working meeting as the tables are small, but it is a good place to talk. Not a great choice for kids - I have a 3 and 7 year old. I would not take either as it is not kid friendly in terms of highchairs and space and the older one would be picky about the food (this is not a fried chicken fingers type of menu).

Food and service are great. Soups and quiches are particularly good. It is all fresh ingredients and you can watch them making everything if you choose. The restaurant is in an old house right by downtown. It is open for breakfast, lunch and can be booked for special occasions.

I'll be going back!
