If you have ever visited Boston's North End, you'll love Joe's! Excellent, thin crust Pizza. Crowded well stocked bar. and the beer selection is quite good We got the feeling that we were part of the neighborhood. On popular evenings, be prepared for a short wait! Loved our visit here, this is a restaurant that has served generations of Valley folks, don't miss it.

We went to Joe's with our 3 kids on a Saturday night at 8:00 and we we sat right away by a friendly hostess and were waited on immediately by friendly waitstaff. The restaurant is very casual with tables and booths. The meals are huge portions and the prices are very affordable. The kids pasta and meatballs is an adult size portion with a meatball the size of an orange! The sauce was fresh tomato style. The adult ravioli had approx 15 ravioli and they were delicious! We also tried the boneless buffalo tenders which were more like chicken bites rather than flat tenders. The sauce was spicy and the blue cheese dressing was very good. We had to try their famous pizza but couldn't choose on a combination so we ordered a small pizza 1/2 Hawaiian and 1/2 eggplant. Both were very good! The chicken Saltimbocca was a HUGE portion and there was easily a pound of pasta on the plate. I highly recommend this hole-in-the-wall restaurant, you won't be sorry! This is also a fun place to come with your friend/partner/husband or wife and sit at the bar have a few drinks and talk with the friendly locals and enjoy a delicious thin crust pizza, Harty app or fill up on a delicious meal!

I visited Joe's on a Friday night for the first time. While I was initially taken by the ambience and authentic charm of the restaurant, I'm afraid the food did not live up to expectations.

We started with a garden salad, that was pretty basic.

For the main course, I had the fettuccine, which was fairly average, and not especially tasty.

I also had a taste of my friend's meatball. While I was hoping for a delicious, meaty flavor, the meatball tasted glutinous and more like meatloaf.

The place is very charming, and has a real "hole in the wall" ambience, but did not have the food to match.

Love this little local joint. Food's good, not expensive. Located on a cramped, narrow street, just like the interior of the restaurant! Not to worry, though, it's worth the effort to find it and wait in line. There are wonderful specials almost everynight (except Friday/Saturday).....and don't miss Joe's salad, especially if you are a bacon lover. Haven't tried the pizza, still working my way through the pastas. Had garlic and olive oil on my ravioli the other night. Delicious!

Joe's is better than average for a pizza place. That's because it really is a cafe serving real food, bistro style. It's a place that spans generations with a bar & grill atmosphere in the front and a cozy small, family dining setup in the rear. It's the kind of place that sports teams visit after a summer league softball game for beer and pizza. No dress code except for the essentials (shirt, pants & shoes). But it's also a place that locals love for its longevity and the way it has aged gracefully in recent years.

The pasta is cooked al dente most of the time and the tomato sauce is fresh. The salads and veggies are fresh and often local. The pizza is thin crust goodness and if you don't want it too greasy, don't order extra cheese or fatty meats as toppings.

Joe's is not a gourmet restaurant, and doesn't pretend to be. But it offers some very good dishes at reasonable prices, and my grandfather liked it until he passed in 1989. You might very well love it too.
