“Gem of wooded serenity for family gatherings”

Look Park is a perfect destination for a family day. There is a water spray park and a huge playground for kids. There is a sweet little lake where you can rent a paddle boat to glide through the cool water. Hundreds of well maintained picnic sites with tables and most have barbecue grills right at the site. A miniature train circles the deer park, and there are tennis courts, bumper boats, softball fields and paths to stroll. Rangers patrol the park, making sure everyone is comfortable. Dogs on leash are welcome and many locals walk the park loop for exercise. Just a lovely place to go on a hot summer day, or in the cool autumn.

“Wedding Wonderland”

The wedding reception we attended in the Park was amazing from start to finish. The outside tent adjacent to the building was a perfect environment for drinks and appetizers before entering the lovely building for a sit-down dinner and dancing. Memorable.

“Something to do for family members of all ages!”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

I grew up playing in this park and it's one of my favorite places. It's certainly the best park in the area. The grounds are huge with bike paths, fields for games and sunbathing and a river to walk along. The park has tennis and basketball courts, mini gold, paddle boats and bumper boats and a water park open in the summer. There is also a (very) small zoo of native New England animals and a train to take young children around the park. There are two different jungle gyms for children to play on. You do have to pay to picnic, but there are many tables with BBQ grills and two larger pavilion that can be rented for larger gatherings.

In the winter, the pond freezes over for ice skating and the park is light up with beautiful Christmas lights. There is also a Santa's workshop where children can meet Santa Claus.

This beautiful park is a must-see for families and nature lovers. There is a small fee to drive your car in (season passes available) but if you bike or walk in, it's free!

“My goto place!”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

I love to walk the mile of the park. I was married at the Garden House within the park (beautiful), I have picnics there in the summer and spring and fall. Love the zoo and train too! I have been to several concerts at the Pines Theater! Just a fantastic place.
