Description: Since 1988, Montano's Restaurant has been treating residents and visitors of North Truro alike to authentic Italian cuisine that's made from scratch the old fashioned way. With pasta that's crafted in-house and cooked to order, homemade sauces, and pizza dough that's made fresh daily, it's easy to see why we've become a local favorite. You'll be welcomed in with warm and inviting service as you relax and look over our menu. Our dishes feature local seafood that's freshly caught as well as dry aged USDA Prime Meats for steak that's intensified in flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether you're tasting our New Haven style pizza or our eggplant parmesan, you'll feel like you're dining in Italy without leaving Cape Cod.

for the past 20 years my wife and I are repate dinner at montano's in north Truro. it's our home away from home. there fried calamari is the best we have eaten on Cape Cod, it's tender and just melts in your mouth. last night we tried there new lobster cakes, I have to tell you don't let this one pass you by as an appetizer you will be sorry, loaded with fresh chuncks of lobster. i had the bone in ribeye steak with the montano butter yummy, juicey tender and cooked to perfection. we noticed that they are seving certifed angus beef, my wife had the filet she loved it!! we love to dine out, we can see the the owner of Montano's gets it, serves his customers the best and the passion dose not go unnoticed. we will be back for more!

There are much better places to go on Cape Cod than Montano's. Both the food and atmosphere were tired. I should have known to turn around and go somewhere else as soon as I walked up to the door. One good thing I can say is that the portions are HUGE! Bring your appetite!

Montano's is an imposing buidling alongside Route 6 in North Truro. Inside, lots of wooden beams, old Chianti bottles...decor must have been cutting edge in 1970.

Food was so-so: plate of pasta was good but presentation very unattractive. Baked scallops hot, but covered by very dry crumb topping. Overall acceptable, but would not go back again.

If you want food like Momma used to make, this is the place. Everything was delicious. Try the bolognese and the arancini (rice balls). You can't go wrong.
