Description: Since 1988, Montano's Restaurant has been treating residents and visitors of North Truro alike to authentic Italian cuisine that's made from scratch the old fashioned way. With pasta that's crafted in-house and cooked to order, homemade sauces, and pizza dough that's made fresh daily, it's easy to see why we've become a local favorite. You'll be welcomed in with warm and inviting service as you relax and look over our menu. Our dishes feature local seafood that's freshly caught as well as dry aged USDA Prime Meats for steak that's intensified in flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether you're tasting our New Haven style pizza or our eggplant parmesan, you'll feel like you're dining in Italy without leaving Cape Cod.

We ate at Montano's for the first time after years of driving through Truro on Route 6.The meal started with fresh bread and the pasta was home made. More importantly the veal saltimbocca portion was generous and the veal was tender and flavorful. They also passed the eggplant parmagiana test with colors. We use veal and eggplant for our gauges of an Italian kitchen but when we return I am trying the Wild Boar Ragout which our friend raved about. It is not the typical Cape Italian spot with red sauce and huge pasta portions but real Italian cuisine.

This is a great family restaurant. The home made pasta and sauce is great. They have a great selection of food on their 'early bird". Full menu is also very good. We love the crab stuffed flounder. Portion is small but extremely good, and filling. After you get through with the loaded salad and bread with olive oil and fresh grated cheese, the meal is fabulous. The wait staff is second to none, wonderful people! We come to Truro from Boston quite a few times during the year and always set aside one night at Montano's. It is a place that has tables in an open setting. Try to get a corner table for a nice experience. You will not be disappointed!
I would recommend Montano's to couples or family dining. Great food, setting and staff. They certainly do it right!

A pleasant oasis in a sea of overpriced and underachieving establishments on Cape Cod. Menu is traditional italian fare with fresh seafood. Reservations are suggested but generally not required. Additional seating is available in the bar area. Early dining hours are available for families with children, and feature a family friendly menu with reduced portions/pricing. Easily accessed from Route 6, parking is free and plentiful with a generous allotment of spaces for disabled and mobility challenged customers.

everything we had was outstanding starting with the arancini, and the stuffed portabello for appetizers. we also shared the gnocchi with sausage ragu; light pillows with a wonderful sauce. the wild boar ragu with fettucini and fettucine with ragu bolognese were both absolutely delicious. the atmosphere is not the best but the service was very good. we live in p'town and will be back often to try more ! we've driven by so many times and didn't realize what we were missing. big portions of homemade pasta very reasonably priced.
