We ate at Montano's for the first time after years of driving through Truro on Route 6.The meal started with fresh bread and the pasta was home made. More importantly the veal saltimbocca portion was generous and the veal was tender and flavorful. They also passed the eggplant parmagiana test with colors. We use veal and eggplant for our gauges of an Italian kitchen but when we return I am trying the Wild Boar Ragout which our friend raved about. It is not the typical Cape Italian spot with red sauce and huge pasta portions but real Italian cuisine.
