On Saturday, July 20, 2013, my family went out for a seal tour with Beachcomber Cruises. What a great time! There were nine of us in our party, along with two other families. There was plenty of room and we really enjoyed the tour. Our group ranged in ages from 10-80 and everyone was really happy that we went on the tour.

Captain Jack was our host during the tour and he was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide of not only the seals, but also the entire Chatham and greater Cape Cod region. What a great tour - well worth it!

Thank you Captain Jack and Beachcomber Cruises!

It started with a trolley ride to Riders Cove where we boarded the boat (Beachcomber) and began the voyage into Pleasant Bay. The driver had lots of local knowledge that he liked to share. The scenery was breathtaking from there on and of course there were lots of seals. It's an awesome adventure. We found the office staff to be friendly, courteous and helpful. My family and I suggest this as an attraction not to be missed in Chatham.

My husband and I went out on the 90 minute seal watching boat tour with friends on a Saturday morning. The boating excursion turned out to be the highlight of the day. First the staff was kind and knowledgable. The young girl at the counter, Dillon, was very helpful. Our boat captain, Captain Jack, was friendly and so knowledgable about Cape Cod. He told wonderful stories along with the history of Cape Cod. The boats were clean and well maintained. Of course the seals were adorable but the boat ride is about so much more than the just seals. Well worth the time and money.

This was by far the best Seal cruise ever. We went as a family of 4 with children aged 3 and 6 years and the kids were very excited to see the Seals. Captain Jack was very knowledgeable about the region of Chatham and he imparted this knowledge along with his own personal experiences of the region which made the trip even more enjoyable. A small boat with about a dozen people altogether made for a great personal experience. The entire experience, from the Trolley ride to the boat, the tour and back to case was very satisfying.
I don't believe one can see only seals for 90 minutes and so I believe this a balanced tour with sufficient time to watch the seals as well as take in sites of the shores.

Thanks,

Loved the Seal Cruise! We had a wonderful time. We went with 3 adults and 4 children ages 2-5 years old. They loved taking the trolley ride to where the boat was docked. We all enjoyed the boat ride, seeing the sand bars and of course the seals. Our captain brought the boat close to the seals and everyone was able to easily view them. The seals were even swimming towards the boat at times. We were all excited and would recommend this tour to others.
