We've enjoyed several meals at Jaime's over the past year. The staff is always pleasant and Jaime is usually there to check on things as well. The place is split pretty evenly between bar room and restauarant and the bar always seems to be busy. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but they do call-ahead seating and take reservations for parties of 6 or more. It includes a room that can be closed off for private functions, which we have done also. On a recent visit, 3 of the 4 in our party had great meals: the Bourbon steak tips are always a favorite--very well marinated and a good portion along with tasty mashed potatoes; the lemon grilled salmon was a decent size and very flavorful as well; the fish and chips was a huge portion, with good fries and four pieces of very tender white fish. The only clunker of the evening was the shrimp pesto, which had too few shrimp and the pasta was too dry. From experience, we know the burgers and salads are nice as well. Overall, a good menu and all reasonably priced. A great neighborhood spot.
