Wonderful service, terrific food in a comfortable atmosphere. The drinks aren't bad either! Great assortment of menu options.

Friendly people serving tasty tapas with enthusiasm and pride -- but the main courses, such as paella, were without distinction or much flavor, and the overly sweet white wine sangria tasted more like Hawaiian punch. If chef could upgrade the seasonings, this rather charming place could be a standout.

the food was good. but very salty. very bad service. me and my wife asked about wine. and they did not know anything about wine. and had no knowledge of any of the wines. all of us want a good wine always next to the food when you enjoy a beautiful evening with your wife. and also they take long to assist us.....and it was not busy. my wife just smiling to hide things. but I was angry. maybe we go back when they have a better service

Espana is in a building that has housed a number of restaurants: some "just OK" others creative & worth re-visiting.
I will return to Espana.
Though well-traveled diners will not think they are actually in Spain, the cuisine - cooking and service - has a other-world charm that makes a leisurely meal at Espana satisfying.
The prices are good, the selection is fair, and the experience is a welcome change from the often pricey local alternatives during the summer arts season.
We sat on the deck ( the patio is quieter), and enjoyed a late summer feat of tapas, wine, beer and entrees. All-in-all a comfortable place to get some interesting food and relax. Staff was earnest and helpful; the kitchen was creative, it not always on the mark. Three-and-a-half to four stars.

We were just hiking in the Berkshire's mountains and just looking for a quick bite. Boy were we in for a surprise ! The place is small and coquette decorated tastefully. The menu list small but everything we try was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and very nice plated. Try this place, you won't be disappointed.
