If you're open to new experiences, it's hard to imagine your not having a great time at MassMoCA. When we went, there were not a lot of the traditional paintings hanging on walls. Instead, there were a lot of installations, video art, etc. Everything was stimulating, interesting, occasionally beautiful, occasionally funny. Very kid-friendly, and large enough that it never felt crowded. A new aesthetic experience around every corner - we loved it!
