We have been staying at the Residence Inn for 5 weeks because of renovations on our home. We are delighted to witness and experience wonderful customer service. The front desk tries their best to accomidate hotel guests' needs. The housekeeping takes pride in their work. The hotel is fairly small and that is a joy. Sadly there is construction happening near the hotel. So ask for a quiet room. I would give this place a higher rating but the noise issues are a problem. The Residence Inn offers a good breakfast. The coffee is not bitter, the eggs are freshly scrambled, and the fresh fruit is arrived. Try it. I think you'll like it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room onthe 4th or 5th floor.

Our large group booked several rooms Memorial Day weekend with Thomas who went above and beyond hospitality, arranging for all rooms to be neighboring. Suites were spacious, modern and spotless. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful with healthy options including eggs and fresh fruits. Breakfast staff was friendly and attentive. Nice lounge area with bar and cozy fireplace. Overall a perfect location and a great weekend!

I spent the better part of 6 months at the Marriott Residence Inn in Needham, it i a short drive or train ride to downtown Boston. The hotel is impeccably clean, the staff is incredible, especially Mercedes and John at the front desk, they are always armed with a smile and extremely friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the parking lot, otherwise you will have to keep your windows closed as the coca cola plant across the street start their trucks rolling very early in the AM/

We spent three weeks at the Marriott Residence Inn. It has many advantages; great location, quiet surroundings in spite of surrounding construction, excellent if a bit boring breakfasts and good evening snacks 3 days a week that sufficed for dinner. It has a nice, complete bar. The room was large, well equipped, including an adequate mini kitchen. Room was a bit dark, short on lights, a common motel failing I cannot understand. The workout room and pool were small but more than adequate. The staff was the highlight, friendly, helpful and cheerful. Two blocks from an excellent walking path and not too far from shopping and restaurants.

We will be back when the occasion demands.

Room Tip: Book early, it fills up rapidly.

I stayed at this hotel for a month while in the US on business, the hotel is pretty new so everything works as expected, bar a couple of things (later). The rooms are well set out and comfortable, the bathroom good quality.

The staff are lovely, important if you are going to be staying for a while.

I was aware that there could be noise issues from the Coke bottling plant next door but I heard nothing but this could be due to where my room was.

The two issues I had were that the pool was never warm, I was told that they were having issues but this was for the whole month. The other issue was with the bus to the station, most of the time this worked well but several times it was late or the message to be picked up never made it to the driver so a wait of 30 minutes ensued.

Room Tip: Read the other reviews and avoid a room facing the Coke plant.
