The fare offered at Gianni's is standard, but the quality is not. Fabulous thin crust pizza and wonderful subs because they use high end deli meats and cheeses that are super fresh. The breads are also super fresh which is imperative. Friendly, friendly service. Great valuer. No skimping.

Gianni's serves the best Chicken Palm Sub around. It comes on a fresh braided roll with just enough sauce so that it is not a mess when you go to eat it.

If you advertise yourself as a gourmet deli you better step up big time. This place has nothing in it that would reassemble a gourmet deli. The only premium looking item in the store is the Boar’s Head deli signs. There are no prepared meals or showcases of food to get your taste buds going.

I ordered an Antipasto salad ($7), a meatball sub ($8) and a Rueben sandwich ($8). The salad was decent but comes with a packet of Ken’s dressing. A real gourmet deli has fresh made dressings. The meatball sub came with five medium size meatballs and hardly any trace of sauce. They were surprisingly pretty good … firm but tender with the right amount of flavor. The Reuben was a disaster primarily due to the corned beef and lack of sauerkraut. Gourmet corned beef is about two inches wide and oozing with flavor and not six inches wide looking like a processed piece of deli meat.

For pizza, try the Gianni's special. It's like an old school Pizza Hut supreme pizza but much better since Gianni's layers on fresh veggies and meats. Food is always consistent and reasonably priced. The hard working owners are always friendly.

Got a chicken parm sandwich, actually all 5 of us ordered chicken parm. It was pretty good. I would add more sauce & cheese, but otherwise tasty. What the deli calls a small, I woud call an extra large. I finished half the sub.
