If you find yourself stuck for lunch, perhaps because your kid is playing in a tournament in the nearby NE Sports Center, then this is the best option for a healthy meal.
Yeah, it’s in a food court. And yes, it’s in a mall. But the food court is clean, airy, spacious, and has a merry go round in the middle to keep the kids amused.
And while the selection of food is underwhelming, this one is the best of the lot.
It’s decent teppanyaki/teriyaki that would fit right in to lunch counters in LA or SF. Shrimp/chicken, chicken, or beef, or veg. Over rice or noodles, or just by itself. That’s the choices.
The food is cooked fresh on the teppanyaki pan right in front of you. And the chef can take requests like no sauce or brown rice (rice with soy sauce).
It’s nothing gourmet, but it’s way better than its peers.
