Tons of trails here, most very well maintained. Surprisingly rugged in places. This is the best hiking in the Boston Metro area with infinite loop hike possibilities. Don't miss the views of Boston from atop Big Blue.

Main downside is that it's not super accessible via transit. Some bus lines go close, but you have to get kind of creative.

If you like to go for a walk in the nature, this is the place to be. Me,my husband and my father went for a hike last weekend. It is nice to see the weather tower and the section for animals next to the museum. It looks like a great attraction for everyone who likes nature.

I love going to the Blue Hills when I want to get away from it all not too far from home. There are great trails to hike and you feel like you aren't just a few miles from the city of Boston.

Before moving to Avon I didn't know how big Blue Hills was. Always looking forward to exploring new trails!

A great place for adults and children to learn skiing. Instructors were overly generous with their expertise, time and enthusiasm. Trails were manageable for a beginner and the value superb. Worth taking a lesson during the week as few people are there so it is like a private class. A wonderful experience for those wanting to learn.
