“An out of the way gem”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

Living in a small town can mean limited dining options. Saigon is the exception, offering amazing vietnamese food in a small, unasuming space. I always get the same thing (vegetable curry), so I can't comment on the menu options, but the curry is so good it's hard to stray and order something different. The decor is a litle dated, but who cares when the food is so good. I only wish they were open Sunday and Monday.
If you can make the trip (be sure to BYOB), you won't be disappointed.

“Best Vietnamese Restaurant in Boston metro area.”
Reviewed October 28, 2011

The Saigon is amazing. The food, service and value are amazing. We've been going to the Saigon for >10 years and have always had wonderful meals. I believe we have eaten every item on the menu and love them all but one! Have eaten in every Vietnamese restaurant in the Boston-Worcester-Providence I can find and none are as good as the Saigon. Have also travelled to Vietnam several times and have yet to find a better, more consistent restuarant there. The restaurant is spartan but the service is impecable. It's BYOB and only takes cash. Mr. Trang and his wife have a restaurant to be proud of and to rave about. My favorite restaurant in Boston, well worth a trip to Millis. You too will be amazed. Fabulous Pho, curries, lemon grass dishes, fish, and Saigon pancake (Bann Xeo). AMAZING!!

“Our favorite restaurant !!”
Reviewed May 28, 2011

We have been going to the Saigon for many years and it remains our favorite restaurant. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. And with the BYOB policy it is very affordable. We love the beef curry, the shrimp dishes, the spring rolls, and many other items. We bring all our visitors here and they love it too!

“Excellent Vietnamese food”
Reviewed May 27, 2011

Saigon is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant that serves excellent Vietnamese cuisine. Some things to keep in mind: Saigon does not accept credit cards -- it's cash only. Also, Saigon does not have a liquor license, so you bring your own and the restaurant cheerfully brings you glasses. I'm not an expert on Vietnamese food, but we usually order crispy noodles rather than the rice we would typically have at a Chinese restaurant. The soups, appetizers and main dishes are all wonderful, lots of vegetables, interesting sauces, maybe a little on the salty side, but overall it's a delicious alternative to the typical food you find in the burbs.

By far the best restaurant in Millis. Where's that? Yes Millis in Metrowest (barely). This is a restaurant thats worth driving through for good Vietnamese food. The decor is plain almost spartan, but clean. Service is extremely friendly especially when it comes from the owner who is at the restaurant almost every night. While focusing more on dishes than pho unlike many other Vietnamese restaurants it succeeds in just about every way a restaurant could. Great Service, Great Value, even better food. Try the Curry or the Pancake. A couple of tips to keep in mind. First the liquor store next store makes up for the lack of a license so BYOB (who wants to pay more for a bottle of wine anyways) and second its cash only so be prepaired.
