“Great place on a Saturday night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2014

Reservations are a MUST on Saturday night as they are packed and parking lot is full. We were seated a little after our time, but it was worth the wait as it was one of the romantic spots in the bay window in a booth. We both ordered from the regular menu. I ordered the baked scallops and my bf ordered the turkey tips.I also enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio that was quite nice. Both meals were served hot and they were good. Best meal EVER?? No, but still quite good and we will go back again in the future. The only thing I didn't like was that the butternut squash had sugar and nutmeg added to it. The scallops were the small ones, but still good. The service was good despite the number of large parties and full up dining room.

“Dinner at the Rotary”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2014

Called for reservations for 6 and were seated early upon our arrival. The waitress was quick to introduce and take the drink order. Fresh warm bread with honey butter was very good. We started with a Calamari appetizer which was delivered very quick to the table. Portion was a bit small for the price but very tasty. Entrees at the table included the Steak tips and Salmon dinners which were both cooked perfectly. Deserts were ordered by all and were oversized. All in all a good dinner. Price averaged $40/head with tip. (No alcohol in that bill)
As the evening picked up it was very busy

“Enjoyed the daily dinner specials.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2014

Went to the Fireside recently with my wife & her father. We all ordered from the dinner specials menu...Dad had the beef stew, my wife had the chicken pot pie, I had the haddock casserole and all 3 meals were excellent as was the warm fresh baked bread. Our waiter was also nice and efficient, we`ll go there again.

“Great Service & Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we opened the door. Sat at the bar area where we were greeted promptly with a smile and a drink. Carafes of peanuts, pretzels and pub mix were positioned along the rail and we were actually able to sample the wines and beers before ordering. Crab cakes were recommended and we were not disappointed. Being so close to the cape, we both ordered the cod - broiled and fried. Both were fresh and perfectly prepared. We really enjoyed our visit here and would definitely go back next time we are in the area.

“Menu with no price?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2013

Stopped here on 12/6 for late lunch. We had sandwiches that were tasty and well prepared. The price for the sandwiches was about $10 each. The dessert menu did not have prices on it and we neglected to question it. When the bill came we discovered the desserts were $9 each! Don't think we will be going back soon.
