It's easy to miss this place. It's located on route 151 between Sandwich Road and the Mashpee Rotary. Prevailing traffic moves at or beyond the speed limit of 50 mph. It's one of several connected businesses. Be very very attentive - it's worth it!
We went there for lunch. They also have a full breakfast menu available all day; I was tempted to order an omelette - they're all cooked in sauté pans, not on the grill - but I opted for a pastrami on marbled rye. Just a simple sandwich, right? But it was done perfectly. The bread was fresh and actually grilled, not toasted. The pastrami had been well trimmed, tasting clean, not as if it had been boiled in oil, and there was plenty of it without being overwhelmed like at some "NY Deli" wannabes. And the cole slaw was delightfully crisp, obvious not a holdover from days past; it was so fresh it could've been made to order. The chips are locally made in Hyannis. Service was friendly and timely; there was a group of six and we wanted individual checks. The witness out all the orders on the same check so everything would come out at the same time, and gave us individual checks at the end of the meal. They also have a small bakery with great looking pastries but we were all regrettably too full for desert. Everyone in our party raved about their sandwich selection.
I can't believe that on a road this busily travelled this place wasn't overwhelmed with customers, but they are fairly new (opened last winter) and easy to miss. Stay alert - it's well worth it. Highly recommended.
