I had not known what to expect as some reviews were "good" and some indicated the resort was not in good condition. I found it to be a 3+ on a scale of 5. The outside of the units certainly needed attention. The unit itself was adequate but the bathrooms also need updating. I don't understand in a large master bedroom why there was a queen - not a king - size bed. We had an enjoyable week there.

We were in unit 54. Be aware that the bedrooms and baths are on the second floor, so if you have mobility issues, you want to avoid this one. The staff were very helpful and the grounds were well maintained. The furniture in the unit is is sad shape, with fabric tears and saggy cushions in the chairs and sofa. The cabinet doors were sprung and didn't close properly. The televisions were ancient and had poor picture quality. The wi-fi was pretty decent. There are fees to use the tennis courts.

This resort looks good from a quick drive through on a previous Cape visit. Layout of buildings, architecture s pleasant. Closer inspection reveals 'tired' buildings needing maintenance, upgrades. Considerable peeling exterior trim paint. Couldn't manage to open any windows. Both bathroom floors were warped, squeaky from apparent water damage. Linoleum was coming up. Layout was odd with two bathrooms upstairs, none on first floor. Bare minimum of kitchen necessities. No pot to boil a lobster. None anywhere on the grounds. They had 3 lame 'activities' probably so they could say activities are provided. Would choose to return to Sea Mist resort nearby rather than here.
