“So far, so decent”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

There's nothing wrong with this restaurant. But there's nothing much to keep people coming back, either.

The food is adequate; nothing stands out as something to come back for.

The staff is typical local staff - pretty good. It's pretty clear that they are not trained, but have learned their trade at other, probably family-style restaurants in the area.

The whiskeys are good, if a tad over-priced.

The atmosphere is semi-formal, leaning toward wood paneling.

Best of luck to them - upper-scale-oriented restaurants tend to wither in this area, as most vacationers aren't looking for something this upscale, and neither are most locals.

One big turnoff - lots of typos in the various menus, with my favorite being the "Pre-Fix" menu available between 4:45 - 5:45 5 days a week. Not "Prix Fixe," but "Pre-Fix." That's just sloppy for anyone trying to sell themselves as a higher-end restaurant.

If the management can't something that basic right, what other little basics do they overlook?

“Go For The Fixed Price Early Bird Menu”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

First off ... this restaurant just opened by the same owners of Wicked in the same complex. Everything is a la carte and prices are on the high side, especially for the 5oz beef filet which came with 4 strings of vegetables artistically positioned on the plate! It was another $6- for my vegetable.. I strongly urge people on a budget to check on their early bird fixed price menu offering a 4 course meal for $25-... That is a value. The help works between both restaurants
and the tables along the bar section were quite noisy that night! Food was good but not worth paying top dollar.

“Worth A Return”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

Atmosphere is over the top here, especially the bar area, food was very good and properly cooked. smoked fried chicken legs as an appetizer followed by Caesar salad with white anchovies, then short ribs and swordfish, all good and bartender was excellent, she was very friendly and willing to give us samples before choosing special whiskey, wines and beer. They have a special room open after 9 pm for smoking cigars which they offer

“Disappointed”
Reviewed November 29, 2013

Manager could have fixed things tonight. Went with hopes of fi.nding. new restaurant to frequent. First experience, no one told me I would be notified by phone when table was ready. 45 minutes later was told I had been called three times. Ordered sirloin medium rare, got a skirt steak well done. Manager brought new steak one size up after the rest of party was done with meal. Not worth the expensive, asked for some compensation Only had one wine at the table comped and it was obvious manger did not want to even do that. Waitress came to table and asked if things were straight with manager after we saw them talk. Told her they weren't worked out. He then came back and said he hadn't spoken to waitress after we clearly watched them talk. They need a few lessons in management and satisfying the customer. Doubt if I will go back.

“A very good start”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

New to the area, but a very good start. Nice menu, good beef, decent wine list (somewhat expensive, however). We will certainly return.
