One of the best french restaurants on the cape. It is a true bistro with bistro fare. Rillettes and Cassoulet were pleasant surprises, both very much like ma mere used to make. The wine list is extensive but costs top dollar and is not generous about their pouring. (Ex bartender) The only real critique is that if they do not know you the service is serviceable. At best. It wouldn't be quite so off putting if it weren't so obvious. I have chosen other places where the food is not to the same standard but the warmth to strangers is more apparent. Pickyour choice

“Slow & pretentious”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

We stopped in with friends for a quick bite before a movie and ended up missing the movie due to slow service. The drinks were watery and after sending them back we waited for quite some time before they were replaced. The meals were ok, but it was not worth the expense for the experience. We ended up being charged for the drinks that we had sent back and it took at least 1/2 hour to get that straightened out, after first only being offered a gift certificate for our next visit (which we will not do!) All in all, if you are at Mashpee Commons, there are other restaurants to dine at with a lot less hassle and more taste.

“Nous aimons Bleu!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2013

Yeah, we love this place, and not only for the big jar of decadent, delicious homemade nut brittle one dips into on the way out or the complimentary velvety chocolate truffles that top off each meal. We especially love the $25 Prix Fixe meals that are served Sunday-Thursday. The serving are generous, despite the reduced price, and there's nothing cozier than sitting in one of the booths on a cold Cape evening with a signature cocktail and the promise of 3 glorious courses to come (I think there's a choice of 3 entrees, appys and desserts, but that might have changed). And the hours for this deal extend to 10 p.m. off season, with no measly early bird restrictions. Chef Feufeu even extended the Prix Fixe throughout last summer, though it ended earlier, naturally. Only one caveat: if you want decaf, be sure to ask if it really is decaf when it's brought to the table. I was awake most of the night after one incident. The coffee is delicious and strong. I mention this because the same thing happened to two friends of mine who ate there in December. Just ask twice!
