Just returned from a 4 night stay as part of an Omega tour of New England. Definitely wouldn't stay again! Rooms clean but bedding looked slept in. Atrocious service both at breakfast and dinner. Waiting time was unacceptable - 1 1/2 hours one evening! Waiting staff pleasant, but obviously under pressure. Management were conspicuous by their absence! Front of house staff not helpful. Swimming pool but no changing facilities,pool water cold, no shower and restroom out of order!!! Because of the location of the hotel there was really no option but to eat in the hotel. There were 47 people on this tour and the majority had the same opinion - I hope they all write a review and perhaps then something will be done!!

The hotel was not to bad for a short stay, with a gym, swimming pool & restaurant but was to far out of Boston (approx 35 miles) and not many amenities around it.
The restaurant was not to bad ( the breakfasts were very good - we were bed & breakfast)
Not to sure we would stay there again.

Went and stayed for one night wouldn't stay again.. Booked a 2 double bed room ... They only had a queen room so we had to pay for a roll away bed for 18$ uncomfortable!! The front desk wasn't very pleasant.. The room was outdated and just a mess with a leaky sink... All though I saw into some other rooms in the morning when they were being cleaned way better than the one I stayed in which was 306. So beware you may get a crappy room and crappy attitudes from the front desk.

Understaffed breakfast facility and waiting 90 minutes for evening meal. Avoid this hotel... Problems reported in previous reviews have not been dealt with
Many guests agreed that staff were doing their best but there was no leadership or planning to provide service.
This hotel is a disgrace to the brand.
You have been warned.

I have used the Best Western Royal Plaza extensively for business meetings and conventions ranging in size from 30 to 500. The group sales staff are outstanding. They anticipate my needs and always deal with any issue immediately. I deal with more than 20 other venues in the greater Boston area and have always found the Royal Plaza to be the equal of any other venue - some of which charge more than twice as much as the Royal Plaza. Their upgraded broadband was a welcome improvement for my last conference and my presenters were very complimentary of the audio-visual staff. Of particular note is the professionalism of the group sales manager (Nicole) who knows the needs of my organization and is always available to answer questions and make suggestions that improve the experiences of my presenters. She has creatively solved many problems for me and always with a smile and good humor. The banquet staff and banquet manager are very helpful in working a menu that will fit our budget without compromising quality.

The location of the hotel is excellent for my many participants who have to travel from all corners of Massachusetts. Extensive parking, multiple size meeting rooms, handicap accessibility, and good signage all combine to make coordinating an event quite easy.

Overnight accommodation for presenters are more than adequate and breakfast is served in the onsite restaurant. I plan on using the Best Western frequently for all events in the Central MA area.
