Wow, what a great find! I was in the area on business, and Pruller popped up when I searched for nearby restaurants.

The buffet-plus-carved-meats service is unusual, but the friendly staff will help you figure things out. Erich, who I presume is one of the owners, patiently described each of the dishes that I didn't recognize. I really enjoyed the opportunity to take a little sample of lots of items, including Brazillian dishes that I don't usually encounter.

The $9.99 per person -- both lunchtime and dinner -- includes meat carved right off the spit, so it's like the best parts of a fancy Brazillian grill restaurant but at a fraction of the price.

Everything was yummy, but a few dishes were on the salty side for my taste. The roast beef was particularly delicious, as was a dish that included okra.

As to the service, I asked whether they had unsweetened iced tea. Turns out they don't, but Erich offered to make some especially for me!

The building is a little on the shabby side, but clean.

I might have to make a special trip back to Marlborough just to eat at Pruller again. I'm recommending it to the folks I was doing business with that day, and I'm sure they will become regulars!

I've recently eaten at Pruller's three times when I was visting in Marlborough. The food and service are both wonderful. I don't normally have a chance to eat Brazilian food so many of their dishes are new and fresh to me -- with some familiar ingredients mixed with some not so familiar but great. The BBQ meat is terrific (the outer cuts are a bit salty so if that is a problem ask for inside cuts.)

Don't let the location put you off. Lincoln Street in Marlborough has old tenament and shop buildings left over from Marlborough's mill town days. The area is called French Hill in honor of the French Canadians who moved here en masse a century or more ago. Now it should be called Brazhill. It's a quiet street at night but very safe with lots of free parking. Don't be surprised if not many other customers are there in the evening. Noontime is a busy time. At 6 p.m. yesterday I was the only customer--perhaps is is busy earlier or later in the evening. The buffet is the best deal you will get for $9.99 anywhere in the USA. If you live nearby, it's great for takeout -- the buffet is sold by the pound at a very reasonable price.

I wrote a similar review for another website, but I have no connection with the restaurant. I just think it is an undiscovered gem and exceptionally good bargain that more people should enjoy.
