“Excellent food & drinks!”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

This place is a hidden gem. The food is really delicious! They have a big menu and their food is always tasty. The place seems clean and has a nice atmosphere. The service is good as well.
I also dined recently here on Cinco De Mayo. The place was festively decorated and they gave us sombreros and some corona swag. I look forward to eating here again.

“Genuine Mexican as in Mexican not Tex Mex”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

Great choices, home made and a great ballanced taste. Meals are large and delicious. Great Margaritas also. The staff takes great care of you and the owner-chef knows his customers. Go there, relax, enjoy

“The best Mexican restaurant in the area, but you have to find it.”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

Tucked away on the part of Maple street which is bypassed by state route 85, this authentic Mexican restaurant is worth finding. Not fancy, but it's family run by people who are obviously proud of their restaurant and want to provide fresh food, good quality, and good value. Speaking of value, a dinner for two (2 of their "trio" Mexican dinners), 2 beers, and dessert was less than $40! You can't beat that!

You'll need a good map, or your GPS, but it's worth the search!

“average mexican”
Reviewed January 16, 2012

just average. nothing special. drinks were good. everything considered, this place is comparable to other townie mexican places in the northeast. slow service, decent drinks, ok food. a 3, maybe a 4 on a scale from 1 to 5.

“Pretty Decor but American Mexican food”
Reviewed January 13, 2012

First of all the place is done very nice inside. The tables, chairs and furnishing are all very tasteful and it is clean. The food, to our standards, was typical New England Mexican and similar to any of the chain restaurants. The sauces were not hot at all and did not have any depth of flavor. The beans were just not good and tasted like they came right out of a can and the rice was lacking flavor too. I had a fajita which was cooked very well but the boring sides were a big negative. My DH had a burrito with a green sauce that needed a boost in flavor. The salsa that they served with the chips was as mild as mild could be.

So, if you are looking for good New England Mexican food with not a lot of spice then this is the place for you. It is cute, clean, big portions and friendly staff.
