It was our first visit to the Westender in Marlborough. Don't think we will be back. It is very much a bar and not so much a restaurant. We walked in the door and was greeted by a gentleman playing darts. The host spotted us from across the room and grab a couple of menus and lead us to a table. The waitress was friendly. When I asked her about a type of dark beer she had no idea about it and said I should just try it. The cost of wine is a bit pricey, $9.00 for a glass of Pinot Grigio, really!!! For dinner I ordered the special, which was Prime rib. My husband order fish and chips. My Prime rib was very tasty. My husband's fish and chips were on the greasy side and the fish were in chunks and some of the pieces were undercooked and translucent. Overall I think it's just another bar that serves so-so food.
