Very small restaurant, it gets crowded quick. We went on a Wed night and there was never an empty table. That many people in a small space made for a lot of noise. My husband was unable to hear anything my daughter and I said. Not a good location if you want to hold a conversation.
All the waitresses seemed very nice and friendly. I was jealous of every other table. Our waitress was apparently brand new to the entire industry. She was bored, hanging around and chit chatting...not bothering to take our order. Would walk by 5,6,7 times...make eye contact, see us try to get her attention and keep on walking. She did come and take our soup bowls and sort of ask if we liked it...while she was watching T.V. instead of even looking at us.
Food was wonderful...everything was yummy! We had the clam chowder which was full of big clams. My husband had a steak which was cooked perfectly and had NO fat or gristle on it. My daughter got a salad off the specials menu (which we had to inform our waitress of...she had no idea there were even specials) and I had the steak and bleu salad. My steak was as well perfect and lean. The onion rings are thin and crispy...a HUGE basket for $4.50, we took half of them home.
Based on how good the food was, and seeing all the other friendly waitresses, we will be going back to try it again.
