I know, I know ...it is a huge chain, but gee it is so ohard to find a good burger these days. I like the place in Milford Mass. The staff works like people possessed to get the product out and it is clean. Not fine dining but when you need a burger you can't beat it.

I've probably eaten at 6 different 5 Guys and fail to understand the big attraction. Thoroughly average hamburgers, in a boisterous, childish environment ... & not cheap.

This chain has some has national and international publicity for a while now, and was even zagat rated from 2001-7. Standards may have dropped since 2007.The cheeseburger was for sure much better than say the other regular chains like Mcdonald's, Burger King or Wendy's. And you can choose your toppings, which is great. So these will have a price - it's more expensive, and you wait 10 mins for the burger. The fries were rather disappointing - they were limp and it looks like they don't de-skin them

I love the soda machine and the peanuts, but the burgers aren't cooked to order. They tend to be on the greasy side, but I love being able to choose from a wide variety of toppings. The fries are delicious when hot, but tend to get limp and soggy when cooled down. That said, you can get a decent burger at a decent price...much better than fast food.
