During a weekend in Boston last May we took a little road trip to Marblehead and stopped here for afternoon drinks. We had dinner reservations so we didn't eat but went out to admire the view and decided we'd come back on our next summer trip.
We did a few weeks ago, sitting outside for lunch and really enjoyed it.
Our server Amelia was friendly, cheerful and helpful with both the food and very decent and reasonable wine list.
We had a great lobster roll with perfectly done crispy fries and fish and chips made with the local catch. My lobster was moist, perfectly cooked and amazingly fresh. The fish and chips perfectly fried .
FYI the view is great.

Wish there was room on the deck, but we still had a harbor view. We both had haddock and it was deliciously fresh. Appertizers were wine steamed mussels and clam chowder. Beautiful location and great service. Perfect summer night and a good summer choice.

The setting was lovely, and though it took a while to find parking (the small lot was full), the walk back from center of town wasn't too bad. We ordered two seafood dishes, one of which was a lobster over pasta. Both were absolutely tasteless -- the lobster chuncks could be saved by squeezing lemon from the water glass, but still not satisfying, and the pasta it was oily with cheese that didn't complement the other flavors, such as they were. There were some mushrooms and pieces of tomato in the pasta. Although another waitress recommended prime rib to her customers, though it was not on the menu (and it looked good served to other tables) our waiter did not mention this option. Very disappointed to have spent our one night to have a New England seafood dinner on something so unsatisfying.
