We were eager to try out this relative newcomer to the local pizza scene so we ordered take out last nite. The person who took our phone order wasn't rude but seemed rather disinterested...Answered phone with, "Joey d's"...and ended call without even a thank you. Just stated it would be about 25 minutes.

They claim to have thin crust italian pizza....it was indeed thin crust but it was cooked on a screen not on the oven deck. Crust had no crispness to it, the sauce was bland and the mushrooms appeared to be canned. We also tried the antipasto salad which was made with field greens...a plus for us but aside from some strips of meat and cheese, it was a garden salad. Did not find any proscuitto, no artichoke hearts, no calamata olives, no marinated mushrooms....one pepperoncini and it was served with a roll up for bread? Wasn't like any italian antipasto we've ever had. We also tried the "homemade" meatballs...they were ok but the sauce was horrible. It was raw and acidic without any other flavor. Our party of 4 was underwhelmed....
