By far the best sushi you will find in the 100 miles range. Guaranteed, you won't be disappointed.

“Superb sushi, service and location!!!”
Reviewed March 9, 2012

Small but clean sushi restaurant in the heart of Lexington Center. It is very authentic. Wait staff dresses in full kimono and provide you with a warm hand towel before placing your order. The staff is friendly, helpful and provide guidance if you are a novice. I have eaten here several times and always order sashimi and a few new rolls or specials. They have the best toro around! Sushi is very fresh, portions are generous and presentation is outstanding. I am a huge fan and will be a repeat customer!

“The Best Sushi and Staff”
Reviewed February 1, 2012

We have been going to Daikanyama for over 2 years. We love the food and the staff. In particular, their specialty Makis are unusually good. My favorite is the Godzilla and my wife loves the Snowing Maki. But most of all I love their soups. They have specialties with the soups that are incredible!

“Excellent food”
Reviewed January 15, 2012

The restaurant is cozy and quiet enough to talk. We had cooked entrees the teriyaki salmon was excellent. Over all excellent choice in Lexington.

“Excellent sushi, but drop off since they opened in Newton”
Reviewed October 15, 2011

This place is the best around and the sushi is consistently excellent for a suburban place. The service is excellent and friendly and they have a braod Japanese menu beyond sushi. Some of the soup bowls are excellent.

My only complaint is that they opened a second place in Newton and the top chef and owner now spend their time at the Newton place. This has led to a slight drop off of the quality they had had since their opening. I hope that they don't start ignoring Lexington like the Yangtse River folks did with their Chinese restaraunt when they opened a second place.
