My daughter and I had a lovely two day stay at the Cranwell Resort. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable and very spacious. We very much enjoyed the spa: swimming, dance class, work-out room...all had a luxury feel and made us feel very pampered.

Second visit to Cranwell and it was wonderful! A perfect spa get weekend with my sister. Last visit we stayed in Beechers Cottage, so we decided to try the Mansion this time. Our room was on the third floor (or as we joked, in the eaves of the attic). The room was spacious, with 2 sitting areas, a fireplace (non-working, but added to the overall ambience), 2 queen size beds, large bathroom and huge walk-in closet. Very quiet and with a terrific view of the surrounding area. Dinner at the mansion was great as was dinner at Sloane's Tavern and the Sunday breakfast buffet. Oh, did I forget to mention the terrific time we had at the spa? Warm stone massages, facials, manicure and pedicures. What more could you ask for?

Went for a 2 day midweek getaway with a friend. Lovely room, high quality spa services -had a massage, facial, plus a mani/pedi - all done professionally. Very attentive staff throughout the facilities, they clearly care about excellent customer service. The resort is surrounded by spectacular views of the Berkshires. The spa package we opted for was a very good value. Looking forward to my next visit.

I've had the opportunity and pleasure to stay at The Cranwell on numerous occasions over the past few months. Not only is this a beautiful resort located on a beautiful property, the manor in which the resort is managed is outstanding. My accommodations are always terrific and the facilities (spa, golf course, restaurants) are equally above par. However, at the end of the day, its the people who work at The Cranwell that make it different and special. They love to have you as their guest and do whatever they can to make your stay the best possible. They make travel easy. The Cranwell "Gets It".

We stayed at Cranwell Resort at a whim on a Sunday night last minute reservations. The oncierge staff were friendly and accomodationg. We got a fantastic price ($169) for a 2 queen bed for 2 adults and a child. We stayed at the Beecher house. Our room was HUGE! We had a sitting area, 2 chairs and a large couch. The room was very clean, the bathroom was slightly dated but very clean and had an ample amount of towels. We arrived late and went to Sloanes Tavern for a light meal and drinks. The food was good and the drinks not skimpy on the alcohol. Our waitress Jessica was very friendly and the Beecher house was within walking distance to our room. We could not hear our neighbors and we slept great. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast in the mansion that is gorgeous with fantastic views. Our server Elena was courteous and efficient. We wish we stayed another another so I could have indulged in the amazing array of Spa treatments that they offered. We will definetly stay again. With the Lee Premium outlets just down the road, this is definetly a recommended place to stay if you want to get away.

Kidnapped my wife for this mid-week getaway to celebrate her big birthday. What an amazing resort. An 1850's mansion in the Berkshires.. Many bargains in the off-season. Package included $250 credit for massage and $50 credit for restaraunt. We will definately return.

Room Tip: We stayed in the mansion bedroom. Rm 204. That didnt allow pets in that room but others did. Resor...

Headed up midweek for a 2-day Spa Package...$239 per person included $125 spa credit and $25 meal credit per person. Even figuring in the automatic gratuity and room taxes, still a ridiculous steal for what you're getting: historic hotel with a gigantic room (we booked in the Mansion, 2-person soaking tub on top floor, basically a huge suite), incredible meals in the Wyndhurst restaurant, great spa, indoor pool, etc. For a 2-day getaway 1.5 hours away from Fairfield County and Westchester, hard to beat. Had dinner in Lenox, one of the best meals we've ever had. Staff at Cranwell was superb. IF it was warmer, might have even gotten golf in, but didn't need to.

Room Tip: Mansion 3rd floor, #300 with soaking tub.
