A rare Berkshire heat-wave did not diminish the wonderful experience we had at the Garden Gables Inn. The Inn is replete with New England charm, and the air-conditioned comfort of its Cortland Cottage was welcome after an enjoyable, but sultry evening at Tanglewood. Breakfast is ample and delicious, with a friendly and attentive waitstaff. There is an inviting swimming pool and we'll not forget bathing suits when we return next summer. We also dined one evening at the Inn (reservation required), which was tasty and delightful. Downtown Lenox is a short walk. Comfort, convenience and charm - we'll be back!

We enjoyed three nights at the Garden Gables this past weekend. Our accommodations were bright and comfortable. The amenities at the Inn......home baked chocolate chip cookies......hot coffee readily available......sherry and nuts. These were just extras. Breakfast offered a buffet of goodies as well as the ability to order items such as pancakes, french toast, eggs etc. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with our breakfast and the NYTimes.
The Inn's sitting rooms and outdoor seating provided quiet places to read or to interact with other guests.
The Inn offers a large pool that is perfect for lap swimming as well as just hanging out.
The location is perfect for walking into the town of Lenox, a short drive to Tanglewood, theater and other Berkshire sites. If you plan to visit the Berkshires, make your reservation at Garden Gables......you will be a happy guest.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Garden Gables Inn this past week. We stayed in room #3 which was beautifully decorated, very clean. The Inn is just at the edge of town, a 2 minute walk to center. The best part of our stay was the very friendly and accommodating staff who helped make our first stay in the Berkshires even better than we had initially planned.

My sister and I spent a night at your delightful inn. The accommodations, staff, and service were superb, bar none. Like the quintessential New England hideaway. We could easily have stayed several weeks within your cozy, comforting environs. "Merci mille fois" to Denise et al for your detailed care. Here's to our next stay in Lenox!

I enjoyed my stay immensely. The food, accommodations, and amenities were excellent. I took advantage of the massages and facial treatments. As someone who has had these all over the world, the services extended by Erica were outstanding. I felt like a new born baby! My tired body was revitalized and reinvigorated! I look forward to our next visit in a few weeks!

A great romantic spot, in the beautiful Berkshires. Great location. My husband and I stayed there for one of our two planned nights, after being called home for a family medical emergency. Our one night there was very lovely. The breakfast was delicious, the service delightful. The concierge gave impecable dinner recommendations and an ginormous umbrella, thank you. The rooms were well appointed, and the bed very comfortable. After some confusion with the Manager about our forfeiting our second night at the Inn because of our hasty departure, we had the delight of speaking with Denise, the Innkeeper. She went above and beyond in making things right, and we will absolutely be back. Hopefully for a fall birthday weekend in October :) Thank you Denise.

We spent 5 nights at this superb inn. The staff was welcoming and incredibly and consistently helpful. The service was superb. The room was well furnished, with high quality linens and towels, great working fireplace, and a king bed with a very comfortable mattress. The bathroom had amenities and excellent rain shower. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, a variety of breads and rolls and a range of hot choices from omelettes to pancakes. Service at breakfast was equal to the high quality of service at the inn. Free strong WIFI all through property. We strongly recommend Garden Gables Inn.
