We spent 5 nights at this superb inn. The staff was welcoming and incredibly and consistently helpful. The service was superb. The room was well furnished, with high quality linens and towels, great working fireplace, and a king bed with a very comfortable mattress. The bathroom had amenities and excellent rain shower. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, a variety of breads and rolls and a range of hot choices from omelettes to pancakes. Service at breakfast was equal to the high quality of service at the inn. Free strong WIFI all through property. We strongly recommend Garden Gables Inn.

We decided to visit the Berkshires on a last minute whim, but had never been to the area before. We read excellent reviews about Garden Gables on Tripadvisor. We booked room 15 in the Main Inn and were not disappointed. The room was plush and lovely, roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the afternoon, we visited the winery connected with the Inn and made some new discoveries there. The capstone of the day was dinner at the Inn. We highly recommend it to anyone who stays. It was intimate, the service was very personalized, and the meal was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. We will be back.

My weekend at Garden Gables was perfect - despite it raining all weekend. The staff was so kind and joyful. The cottage was cozy yet spacious. The breakfast was amazing. I really hope I can come back soon.

The Inn is really lovely - from the outside and inside. We were welcomed warmly, showed around the house and since it was my birthday I was offered to choose a bottle of wine from their own vinery. Our room was very pretty - decorated in light, fresh colors. There are many nice touches - Lindt chocolates on the pillow, fresh flowers in the room, Aveda toiletries, great selection of tea, two kinds of sherry in the afternoon, a fire in the fireplace.... The breakfast buffet and entrée selection was very good - granola, yoghurt, bread, bacon, boiled eggs, muffins, fruit salad on the buffet and omelets, french toast, pancakes etc. made to order. The street with restaurants and bars is just a short walk across the street.
A truly lovely place to relax and enjoy the area! The only obstacle from returning soon is the 3 night minimum stay in summer....

My Husband Erik and I stayed at the inn for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was beautifully appointed (room 15) with a beautiful and comfortable king bed. The inn is so warm and charming with many extra touches that mean so much. We really enjoyed all the goodies such as the scrumptous chocolate chip cookies available anytime, as well as fresh brewed coffee and fresh fruit. The breakfast was the highlight and exceptionally prepared, more than you could hope for. The sherry was an extra bonus we enjoyed in the evening. We took a drive to visit the orchards and winery and were not disappoointed. The ice wine and the moscato are out of this world! We would love to return to this wonderful inn!

Room Tip: We loved room 15 with the private balcony.

My husband and I were warmly greeted by the innkeeper, Denise when we arrived at the inn. She told us to help ourselves to fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and coffee. Then she gave us a little tour of the inn and showed us several different rooms we could choose from. We chose one of the cabin rooms and there was a problem with the hot water so Denise gave us a choice of other rooms and she helped us move. She also gave us suggestions for dinner and information on the area. We stayed in Room 15 and it was wonderful. The bed was big and comfortable and the fireplace was warm and toasty. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary so Denise gave us a bottle of champagne to take to our room. Every morning at 7:00 am there was fresh coffee downstairs and you can just help yourself to coffee, tea and cookies all day and night. The breakfast is incredible - always fresh fruit salad, an assortment of dried fruits, granola, yogurt, muffins, sausage and bacon. They have several different breakfast choices that they cook to order. The regular French toast with sautéed apples and walnuts is fantastic and the omelets are loaded with farm fresh ingredients. Kelly is the assistant innkeeper and she is a doll. She was so friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed talking with her over the course of our visit. Anything we wanted, she was happy to help us with. This inn was just beautiful inside, it had so much history and it was bright, open and cozy. The rooms were all beautifully decorated, cozy and clean. It has beautiful grounds and big wooden lounge chairs spread around on the grass for everyone's use. Downtown Lenox is only a 5 minute walk. In fact, we walked to dinner every night. Alta is a fantastic restaurant and La Patisserie has delicious pastries and lattes. I would highly recommend the Garden Gables Inn to anyone who wants comfort, peace and quaintness. They will make you feel like the inn is your second home.

Room Tip: Rooms 14 and 15 are down a little corridor by themselves and they both have loveseats, fireplaces an...
