The food is very good but the service is slow. The line to get in is long so if you are really hungry don't go.

Thank Jeanne M

We had hoped to sit outside but it started to rain. We went early dinner and the place soon filled up. It is a pub atmosphere filled with locals and tourists. Inside it is old rustic looking to go with the 1881 building. We sat by the fireplace. There is along bar and several TVs. It seemed clean.
The menu had salads, pizza, gluten free items, sandwiches and wraps, burgers, wings, soups, something for everyone. There was a create your own pasta dinner and we chose that. We chose our type of pasta, sauce, and the topping for the sauce. I chose meatballs, sausages, spinach, olives, mushrooms for the topping that was mixed in the sauce. I spoke with the friendly chef who explained how he prepared it. It came with a slice of garlic bread, all for $8.95 which is a great price. The meatballs were very good even though they were not homemade. Skip the sausages which are the frozen kind that go on pizza. This was a large dinner and very good.
They offered local beer. I noticed a guest's chowder in a large mug that looked good.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I did see a child there. The place filled up so go early.

Ate outside with our dog. Service was very slow. When we finally got served, they forgot my soup. I had chicken wings that had almost no meat on it Very disappointed.

This pub offers a really nice selection of good food. We enjoyed quesadillas and a salmon BLT which were excellent. Prices are reasonable and the service was very friendly. Located right in downtown Lenox across from an old-style family bookstore. This was a real nice discovery!
