“Enjoyable dinner”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

We had a great dinner at Sullivan Station. Service was friendly and attentive. All dishes (appetizers, entrees, dessert) were delicious. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. My only concern is that the entertainment (starting as we were leaving) was quite loud and boisterous. I was glad we were leaving as it was beginning because I prefer to eat in a quieter setting.

“Nice Place”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

We found the place charming. The food was good and the service fair. The host was very friendly. We were lucky enough to go on a Sunday night when they had a talented singing duo, who played guitar and sang a variety of songs from Johnny cash to Elvis Presley and more. The sherry walnut pie was delicious even though our waitress couldn't tell us what was in it besides sherry and walnuts (sort of llike a pecan pie). We had to wait a long time for our check and the waitress forgot our bread, but we didn't mind because we enjoyed the entertainment. We would go there again.

“Sullivan Station Serves Great Food”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

Four of us visited Sullivan Station on a recent trip to the Berkshires. Being that it was in an old train depot was a plus since one of our party is a big train buff. The inside looks like all the old wood with lots of train decor. A train even went by as we dined but it no longer stops in town.
We were greeted promptly and seated at a nice 4-top. The menu was varied and our server told us of a few specials for the evening. Dinners come with soup or salad and choice of vegetable, potato, pasta or rice. I started with their New England Clam Chowder, which was chock full of clams and potatoes in a thinner cream soup than I've usually seen. The rest of the party opted for the house salads which were good and fresh. I chose the Seafood Fra Diavolo and asked for it spicy. It came as ordered with about a dozen littleneck clams, huge shrimp, scallops and several large pieces of lobster meat in a spicy sauce over linguine - very good.
My wife ordered their mixed grill which came with shrimp, Caribbean chicken and andouille sausage over black bean rice. She declared it very good and saved a little bit of chicken to bring home.
Our friends ordered the Prime Cut Pork Chop (very good) and the Chicken Picatta (also very good) Service was friendly and efficient, water was refilled several times without even asking (that's a plus!).
We used a restaurant.com certificate but the prices are reasonable. We would go back when we visit that area again.
