The clam chowder was fine but the lobster bisque was a real hit. The fried oysters were delicious and our party of six enjoyed the reasonably priced lunch specials. This place is well worth a visit. I look forward to returning and repeating a gratifying experience. Try it and see for yourself.

We read good reviews of this place on tripadvisor and decided to try it on a recent trip to the Berkshires. We arrived between 6:30 and 7pm and there were some people waiting. We were told the wait was about half an hour and we decided to stay. As people came in, you can see the receptionist was partial towards the local folks. Nevertheless, she treated us with respect and seated us when our turn came. The waitress, Melinda, was very friendly and gave great service. The food was good and they were true to their advertisement - fresh seafood at moderate prices. We had an excellent meal and you can see that the staff is service-oriented. The patrons sure appreciate that!

The place was jammed on a Monday night with a 40 minute wait for the main course. The lobster was good (overpriced given the low price for losbster from Maine) and myb Caesar salad was swimming in a poor dressing.

Had a very good meal, although restaurant was very busy, they fitted us in without reservation! Food and drink excellent - local beer recommended by server - really, really good. Fish cooked to perfection! Portion size sensible. Must say that the server was absolutely outstanding - in a country where good service is the norm - our server was quite simply the best!

7:30 on a Wednesday night...out of lobster? Isn't this a banner year for lobster harvest?? Lobster roll touted as their specialty??? Okay, let's try something else...fried whole belly clams were very mediocre, tasted like they had been sitting around after being fried. Salad was unimpressive and dressings were bulk-food tasting; rest of the meal was forgettable....can't even remember what I ate after the salad except to say that I didn't finish it. I guess that says it all.
