Those who know and love Indian food, and those who don't. If you are in the first category, don't deny yourself the pleasure of food that is as authentic and delicious as it gets in the US. Forget the sometimes slow service. The restaurant is often slammed with large parties (usually Indian), and I think the staff does a remarkable job of keeping up. Plus they are genuinely caring if not always completely attentive. As another reviewer mentioned, the secret is to order drinks and sit back and relax. As weekend homeowners in the Berkshires, we eat at Bombay often and always remark on how wonderful the food is. One dish I used to avoid at other Indian restaurants is tandoori chicken, since it is often dry and flavorless. After noticing that it seems to be one of the most popular choices at Bombay, and that it is delivered to the table sizzling hot, we gave in and ordered it. Now it is a go-to, no matter what else we order.

I love this restaurant! Always an excellent dish no matter what you order. Service can be slow in the summer rush season and ambiance is a bit lacking but you can't beat the food.

This is a small restaurant/bar that they are hopefully expanding in the future. The starters were really good and we wanted to try more of the starters but had to leave room for the main course. The rack of lamb was done perfectly as I had asked and the naan bread that comes with the plate was outstanding. My dislikes were with the rice and the salad but that was no fault of the Chef, I just don't care for rice with vegetables and nuts nor do I care for salads which are partially grilled vegetables on cold lettuce. The portions were large and filling. The service was fast and we really liked that the plates were brought out when they were hot and ready not waiting under a warmer until both plates were ready then one plate is luke warm.

food was very good and many choices. Just wished the hours were all day, they are closed sometime between 3 and 5. Being someone who eats lunch late, that was the only inconvenience. Staff very friendly

Went the other night and had some really good Indian food. Although there were few people in the restaurant, service was slow.
