Those who know and love Indian food, and those who don't. If you are in the first category, don't deny yourself the pleasure of food that is as authentic and delicious as it gets in the US. Forget the sometimes slow service. The restaurant is often slammed with large parties (usually Indian), and I think the staff does a remarkable job of keeping up. Plus they are genuinely caring if not always completely attentive. As another reviewer mentioned, the secret is to order drinks and sit back and relax. As weekend homeowners in the Berkshires, we eat at Bombay often and always remark on how wonderful the food is. One dish I used to avoid at other Indian restaurants is tandoori chicken, since it is often dry and flavorless. After noticing that it seems to be one of the most popular choices at Bombay, and that it is delivered to the table sizzling hot, we gave in and ordered it. Now it is a go-to, no matter what else we order.
