This place was not too far from our hotel here in Lee, mass. When we decided to go there for a walk, we realize that this place was located up on the mountains with beautiful views all around it. And with weather warming up, the evening couldn't have been any better.
When my husband and I want to take a little ride, we travel from CT to Lee MA to get out and search for great bargains. The ride from CT to MA is scenic including passing by a historic covered bridge. Once at the outlets, you find a village-type layout which is great for sunny day walking. Our favorite stores include Nautica, Talbots, Eddie Bauer, and Chicos. Every time we go, we find some new shops, and our old standbys. They have a nice food court, but we travel down the road into the little town of Lee where we enjoy a late lunch at Timothy's.
My husband and i were spending three days in the Berkshires and since we are both fussy, decided we would shop for each other, together, and the outlets were the perfect choice. I love Talbot's and found two tops, and he wanted a down vest, since the one he had for 38 years exploded, and we had feathers throughout the house. We hit most of the men's store and the last one, we found the perfect vest! We had lunch there too, but were a little disappointed. The pizza place heated our pieces for us, but they were barely luke warm.
one of the things I like most about this outlet is that it is not well known. While some of the others, Tanglewood, Woodbury etc are mob is much less like that. It is outlet shopping without the crowds and outlet feel. The staff at the stores I visited - Jcrew, Cole Haan, Polo were all very friendly and helpful. If you're ever driving by I suggest you visit!
My husband and I went to the outlet stores on a whim. We ended up finding so many sales that we could not resist. I would recommend going just in case you find that one thing you just can't live without...and, it's on sale too!
Easy to walk between stores, lots of stores and a nice food court. We visited a few stores and bought some nicely priced items. It was really just a day of window shopping for us, but we found some lovely things.
